Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society is proud to present Vancouver’s biggest and longest running Burlesque show. The Taboo Revue features over twenty talented artists performing hilarious comedy, sultry singing, dance and sensuous striptease.

The Revue presents a wide range of performers and acts. Performers range from some of Vancouver’s best and most respected Burlesque and Variety performers to new and upcoming performers. The acts range from sketches to dances to songs to striptease. The show focuses on the funny and the sexy and is entertaining for men and women of all ages.

The upcoming Revue features an incredible cast of more than twenty performers who will sing and dance their way into your heart!

Hosted by Evil Bastard and Violet Femme and starring Melody Mangler, Bernie Bombay, April O’Peel, Connie Lingus, Bon Bon Bombay, Lola Lockeheart, Precious Metal, Kimmy Shimmy, Duncan Teabags, Voodoo Pixie, Corvetta Curves, Vava Vunderbust, Lincoln Electra, Sparkle Plenty, Lacy Lamour, Drunk Mike, Katy Kaboom, Daisy A’Dare, Titty Kitty and Calamity Kate.

The Taboo Revue is produced by Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society - “Vancouver’s most trailblazing theater/dance company” (Terminal City Vanguard Awards). Screaming Chicken is a not-for-profit organization that has produced a wide range of critically acclaimed, Burlesque inspired shows. With over 40 members Screaming Chicken is one of the world’s largest Burlesque companies.

The WISE Hall is a long time home to the East Vancouver performing arts community and we are very excited to make it the new home of the Taboo Revue. The WISE has seating for about 180 people and a capacity a little above 200. Seating is on a first come basis. The hall is located two blocks east of Commercial Drive at 1882 Adanac St. (one block north of Venables St.). It is a short walk from the #20 bus which runs from Broadway Skytrain Station and downtown. There is street parking at the venue.

Tickets are available for $15 +SC online from ClubZone.com and for $18 at the door. There will be tickets available at the door beginning at 9pm the night of the show.

Doors open 9pm, show at 10pm.

All proceeds from the Taboo Revue go to Screaming Chicken to help make Vancouver more fun.
